Houston Kannada Vrinda will be celebrating Karnataka Rajyotsava day on November 8 at Sri Meenakshi Temple Kalyana Mantapam. Please note that we have made significant changes in the program format.

Program consists of variety entertainment by children and much more.
Enjoy the wonderful cultural program and a hilarious Kannada Drama by
the members of Kannada Vrinda.

To celebrate Kannada Vrinda's 20th Anniversary, we will have a new item,

"Kuniyonu Baara". A music program, selected from popular Kannada songs, will set the right environment for the dance. All are welcome to join. (We will need some volunteers to clear the area for dance). The evening program will conclude at 10:30 p.m.

Food service will start at 7:00 p.m. and will go on till 8:30 p.m. Udupi Café will be selling food at a reasonable price (individual items or full meal) which may be purchased directly from the vendor. Kannada Vrinda will be providing soft drinks and water. Children are encouraged to get their food starting at 7:00 p.m., followed by family members. Complimentary sweet "Ladoo" is offered by Mr. Govind Boloor. Program on the main stage will go on till 7:30 p.m. and then will be resumed at 8:30 p.m. for the Kannada drama. Complimentary coffee and tea will be available at the kitchen between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. only. A professional photographer will be on site to take pictures of you and your family.
